Bernard
British artist, Bernard Dunstan, brings a harmonious ambiance to his subjects in his impressionistic painting style. Studying and teaching at various prestigious academies and schools around Great Britain, Dunstan is well-known and well-admired by his peers and the art world alike.
A distinguished member of the Royal Academy since 1968, Dunstan studied at the Byam Shaw School of Art and later at the Slade School. His works are held by numerous public collections including the London Museum, Arts Council, and the Tate Gallery. He has published six books on painting including Pictures in Progress and Painting Methods of the Impressionists.
Dunstan attributes great influences on his work from such artists as Renoir, Ingres, Bonnard and Vuillard.
